The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating an incident in Kentucky where a mysterious object fell from an airplane and crashed into a man’s mobile home.

Walking inside his home, Woosley discovered an object ‘laying there in the wall’.

‘I thought that maybe (someone) threw it,’ Woosley explained to the Courier Journal. ‘After closely looking at the marks on the thing and the angle it came from, (it) puzzled me.’

Woosley described the object as being ‘very heavy for the size.’ He added that it was some sort of canister, measuring roughly 10 inches long and two inches round.

The man didn’t immediately alert authorities about the damage, only doing so on Monday after he discovered that the bathroom wall damage made it difficult for him to shower for work.

He got in contact with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, who then contacted the FAA.

It is believed the canister may have fallen off an aircraft.

An FAA spokeswoman shared that the agency is conducting an independent investigation to determine what happened.

Woosley feels that this incident will definitely stick with him.

‘(I have) had lots of strange things (happen) in my lifetime,’ he said. ‘This takes the cake.’
