Laughing Brits arrested over brutal mass brawl that knocked two men out cold in Sydney’s red-light district

THIS is the vicious street brawl that left two men unconscious after they were punched by a gang of British yobs in Sydney's red-light district.

The thugs appeared to feel no remorse as they smirked while walking free on bail yesterday.

Shock footage shows the gang punch a man in the head until he is unconscious.

The man who filmed the violent incident can be heard cheering the fighters on and shouting "boom!" when the victim fell to the ground.

Appearing to realise the seriousness of the situation, the cameraman says "someone call the ambulance" as the man lies face down in the street.

The violence kicked off at around 1:20am on the Kings Cross strip in Sydney, which is known as the area's red-light district.

A 19-year-old man was also punched and fell into the road, police said.

KNOCKED OUT

No one suffered significant injuries.

The next day three of the gang members were approached by a TV crew asking them about the fight.

Two of them smirked and laughed at the camera and didn't say a word about what happened.

All five are British nationals from England and Scotland and have been charged with affray.

Four of them were allowed to walk free, but one has been refused bail and is due to appear in court on Thursday.

The remaining men will appear in court on May 21.

All of the men have been banned from the Kings Cross and Sydney CBD entertainment precincts.
