Mr Al-Shahrani shared the video in the hope that he can ‘touch the hearts of the people who do not follow the lockdown rules or other precautions, such as avoiding handshakes’.

Saudi Arabia has reported 1,299 cases of coronavirus – the most in the Gulf Arab region – with eight deaths so far.

The country has taken many steps to contain the outbreak, including halting international flights as well as suspending the Umrah year-round pilgrimage and closing mosques, schools, malls and restaurants.

Globally, there have been more than 700,000 reported cases, with around 34,000 deaths.
