It was discovered that the vehicle had been stolen in London, Ont. and was last spotted heading towards Stratford.

Stratford police were notified and found two men from London trying to push the vehicle a short time later out of a ditch on Line 26 just west of Road 119 in Perth. A 20-year-old woman was still inside the vehicle as well.

The trio attempted to flee with officers arresting the woman at the scene while giving chase to the two men who took off in the opposite direction from one another.

Stratford police K-9 Const. Jackie Lange and her police service dog “Jack” were brought in to conduct a search and a short time later a 36-year-old man was found holed up in a barn and a 37-year-old man was found in a separate barn hiding inside a herd of cattle.

The trio, who have been charged with a long list of offences, could be facing even more as police believe they found stolen property inside the vehicle.
