Hollyoaks pictures for next week confirm an emotional rollercoaster of a week, with a suicide decision on the cards, in addition to a shocking showdown at the school involving the police.

For a first look at what’s to come, Metro.co.uk has a brand new picture gallery, previewing next week’s episodes.

Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan), who has been under serious stress as of late, continues to struggle in upcoming scenes, with his GCSE results playing on his mind.

Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) is quick to offer his support, doing everything in his power to ensure his son can repeat the year, but Charlie makes it quite clear that this isn’t what he wants.

The teen’s worries and anxieties prove overwhelming and, after a number of panic attacks, he takes himself off to the beach, leaving his loved ones seriously concerned as he sends a picture of his location.

Darren swoops into action, with some assistance from Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard), determined to find Charlie before it’s too late.

Charlie, meanwhile, reminisces about happier times with Darren as he walks towards the sea.

Can Darren and Tony find him in time?

Elsewhere in the eponymous village, Hunter McQueen (Theo Graham) is worried about a video circulating around the school, confiding his fears in Beau Ramsey (Jon-all Bell), who encourages him to discuss the matter with new head teacher Carter Shepherd (David Ames).

Hunter does just that, unaware that Carter is actually Freya Calder’s (Ellie Henry) dad!

Carter reports the situation to the police, with DS Zoe Anderson (Garcia Brown) turning up to the school to quiz Hunter and Freya, but just what will transpire?

Can Hunter prove that this is simply a misunderstanding? Or can we expect things to take a darker turn?
