Royal Mail aims to deliver to all addresses six days a week. However, this is not always possible due to resourcing issues, high levels of sickness, absences, poor weather conditions and other local factors.<\/p>\n
When particular local offices are affected, Royal Mail rotates deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers.<\/p>\n
It also provides targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore service to the high standard customers would normally receive.<\/p>\n
The postal service apologised for any inconvenience caused to customers this weekend, sharing which UK areas may be most impacted by delays.<\/p>\n

We will aim to work as normal, although this might not always be possible due to road closures and access around the event locations and surrounding areas. Customers in the affected areas have been informed of the potential disruption.”<\/p>\n Customer Service points will remain open for customers to drop off their mail. They can check opening times by visiting royalmail.com\/services-near-you.
