A LUCKY woman who won \u00a310k-a-month for 30 years says she bought the winning ticket she after seeing a lucky sign.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doris Stanbridge from Dorking scooped the whopping jackpot on The\u00a0National Lottery's\u00a0Set For Life game.<\/p>\n

The sales assistant used to play Lotto every Saturday but she decided to try her luck with a different game when she saw two money spiders. <\/p>\n

The grandma from Surrey said: "I was out in the kitchen when I felt something tickle my arm. I looked down and it was a money spider crawling off of my hand. <\/p>\n

"I flicked it off, went into the conservatory and there was another one! I said to my girls, \u2018I\u2019ve seen two money spiders now, I should do the lottery."<\/p>\n

The former sales assistant and husband Keith stopped working when they realised they had become millionaires. <\/p>\n

She explained: \u201cI wasn\u2019t planning on retiring for a few more years but I am going to stop working in the next<\/span> few months. <\/p>\n

"Keith has already retired, only two weeks before all of this, so we can retire together now and enjoy it."<\/p>\n

The life of the lucky punter changed forever days before she was set to go on an annual trip to Cornwall with her daughters in August 2023.<\/p>\n

Doris played the Lucky Dip game and the following Sunday she received the shocking email announcement.<\/p>\n

She said: "I looked at it and said to Keith, \u2018have I read that right? Does that say what I think it says? No, it can't be!\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cI rushed round to my son-in-law, who lives next door. I knocked on the door and practically shoved my phone in his face and asked him if it said what I thought it had said! <\/p>\n

"He logged on to his National Lottery app and said \u2018yes those are the numbers, there was one winner and it\u2019s you!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The loving couple have now become millionaires and will receive \u00a310,000 each month for the next 30 years of their lives.<\/p>\n

Doris said: \u201cIt still seems a bit strange when I think about the win and that I will get that money every month for thirty years. It gives me a reason to be around until I am 100!<\/p>\n

\u201cGetting that first payment was bizarre, it felt very strange to see that amount of money in my account."<\/p>\n

It comes as another lucky man who won \u00a310k-a-month for 30 years said he knew he had hit the big time after the machine made a strange noise.<\/p>\n

John Stembridge, 51, from Trowbridge,\u00a0Wiltshire, scooped the whopping jackpot on The\u00a0National Lottery's\u00a0Set For Life game.<\/p>\n
