A 17-year-old boy is in hospital after being shot through his bedroom window in Melbourne\u2019s south-east overnight.<\/p>\n

Police say they believe a number of shots were fired from the road or footpath towards an Endeavour Hills home, injuring the teen while he slept.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the Janmara Court residence about 1.20am. The teenager was taken to hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Other family members at the Endeavour Hills home at the time of the shooting were uninjured.<\/p>\n

The area around the home has been cordoned off while detectives from the armed crime squad and officers from the major crime scene unit investigate.<\/p>\n
