It is currently not known who dumped the dogs, but all three are wearing collars.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tate Burton, 20, discovered the hounds during a walk yesterday at 5.30am and said they &#8216;are beginning to fight with one another&#8217; with a cut and blood on the greyhound&#8217;s head.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He wrote on the Newquay Community Facebook\u00a0group: &#8216;Does anyone know anything about these dogs? They are tied up on pentire headland and have no water or food by them.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/13\/17\/75391781-12514083-image-a-15_1694622643559.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The pooches tangled together with a metal chain secured to a wooden bench on hte Pentire Headland, in Newquay, Cornwall<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We filled up there water bowls. They are extremely tangled and are beginning to fight with each other. The greyhound has blood and a cut on its head and is padlocked. They are extremely friendly, however very stressed. Thought I\u2019d put it up here to see if anyone knows anything about them.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>More than 200 comments were left under the post, with many people left in disgust and urging someone to help.<\/p>\n<p>One person said: &#8216;Omg this is disgusting.. in this heat too we\u2019ve been having.. surely someone with bolt cutters can free them, this is cruelty plain and simple.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;If they are distressed and were in car u can smash the window.. what\u2019s the difference here?! been abandoned I\u2019d say if asked, some one cut them free they don\u2019t deserve animals to do this.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;What\u2019s the point in having pets to do this to them..&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Mr Burton, a chef, told NeedToKnow he tried for an hour to free the dogs from the chains but without any luck before going to look for help.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;My jaw dropped when seeing the dogs tied up &#8211; I couldn&#8217;t believe it,&#8217; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I was at first wary with how they might react if I went over but they were scratching to see someone.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/13\/17\/75391783-12514083-image-a-16_1694622651475.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Two discarded bashed up pet carriers can be seen on the grass with the doors open, alongside an upturned water bowl<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The dogs responded with pure excitement to see someone as they were all stressed and just wanted some love.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>He added: &#8216;It made me feel awful.<\/p>\n<h3>READ MORE:\u00a0The 34 dog breeds at risk of being wiped out in the UK<\/h3>\n<p>&#8216;I have had many pets and couldn&#8217;t imagine torturing my dogs like this no matter what style of life I live.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Pets are a treat, not a right.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>A few hours later, two of the dogs were found rummaging round back gardens for food.
