SHEFFIELD UNITED and Tottenham have condemned online racist abuse of goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.<\/p>\n
The 32-year-old was in action on Saturday as the Blades took on Spurs in North London.<\/p>\n

Paul Heckingbottom's side led 1-0 via Gustavo Hamers' strike.<\/p>\n
But Tottenham hit back late on, dramatically scoring in the 98th and 100th minutes to win 2-1.<\/p>\n
After the match, Foderingham wrote on Instagram: "I don't mind opposition fans calling me every name under the sun.<\/p>\n
"But be easy with the racism and family threats. Think before you type."<\/p>\n

His club immediately released a statement to support their goalkeeper.<\/p>\n
It read: "Sheffield United condemn the racist, abusive and threatening messages that have been sent to Wes Foderingham after yesterday's game against Spurs.<\/p>\n
"The club will now work with relevant bodies to investigate and support Wes.<\/p>\n
"There is no room for racism in our game."<\/p>\n
