The body of a man who disappeared without a trace in Wales more than 10 years ago has finally been found, after human remains were discovered in a woodland.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Anthony Lewis, 64, from Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, was first reported missing on July 5 2012.<\/p>\n
His abandoned car was found in Snowdonia a week later sparking a frantic police search to find him but tragically he could not be found.<\/p>\n
The missing person case has remained a mystery for a decade until a member of the public found remains in a woodland near the village of Dolgarrog on 25 September, the BBC\u00a0reported.<\/p>\n
An inquest has since been opened at the County Hall in Ruthin by Kate Robertson – assistant coroner\u00a0for North Wales East and Central.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The hearing heard that Mr Lewis was identified via dental records, according to reports in the Wrexham Leader.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The opening of his inquest heard that a pathologist’s provisional cause of Mr Lewis’ death was asphyxia due to inhalation of helium.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A full inquest has been adjourned to a later date.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
