CHRIS EUBANK JR could fight Conor Benn in Abu Dhabi on December 23 if a UK bout can\u2019t be agreed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mail claims Eddie Hearn has agreed a deal for the pair to clash in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The boxing promoter has publicly declared his intention for the fight to take place at Cardiff\u2019s Principality Stadium.<\/p>\n

But Benn has not yet been given the green light to box in Britain after failing a drugs test last year, the result of which scrapped his original bout with Eubank Jr.<\/p>\n

He was cleared to return to boxing in July by the National Anti-Doping Panel.<\/p>\n

However, the British Boxing Board of Control will appeal the decision in the coming weeks as they are yet to restore Benn's licence to fight in the UK.<\/p>\n

Benn, who beat Rodolfo Orozco in Orlando last month, maintains he did not deliberately break anti-doping rules.<\/p>\n

Yet with just 11 weeks until Benn's bout with Eubank Jr, Hearn has made plans to host the fight in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n

The clash is set for December 23, the same night Tyson Fury will attempt to unify the heavyweight division against Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

Hearn confirmed: \u201cDecember 23, I\u2019m calling it now, Benn vs Eubank, December 23.<\/p>\n

There is a chance Fury vs Usyk could be pushed back until January should Benn vs Eubank Jr go ahead on that date.<\/p>\n

The Gypsy King faces Francis Ngannou in an exhibition bout at the end of October.<\/p>\n

And that would give him just eight weeks to get ready for the biggest fight of his career.<\/p>\n
