{"id":144317,"date":"2023-10-20T08:08:01","date_gmt":"2023-10-20T08:08:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebritywshow.com\/?p=144317"},"modified":"2023-10-20T08:08:01","modified_gmt":"2023-10-20T08:08:01","slug":"drunken-yobs-force-a-python-to-drink-lager-police-hunt-gang","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebritywshow.com\/world-news\/drunken-yobs-force-a-python-to-drink-lager-police-hunt-gang\/","title":{"rendered":"Drunken yobs force a python to drink lager: Police hunt gang"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Drunken yobs force a python to drink a bottle of Carling Black Label lager: Police hunt gang whose stunt is likely to have killed the snake<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Three men in South Africa sought for force-feeding lager to protected python\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Experts suggest the lager likely burned the pythons internal tissues\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These drunken yobs are being hunted in South Africa for animal cruelty after force-feeding Carling Black Label lager down the throat of a terrified python.<\/p>\n<p>The boozers had grabbed the protected six-foot-long reptile as they partied in the bush and prised open its jaws and poured a quart of beer into the stricken creature.<\/p>\n<p>Snake experts say that the reptiles organs have no way of dealing with alcohol and that it would have burned its internal tissues and caused severe damage or death.<\/p>\n<p>The short 14 second clip shows two men holding the snake upright and a third man emptying a whole 750ml bottle of the Canadian lager down the snake&#8217;s throat.<\/p>\n<p>The crowd are baying and laughing and one of the tormentors looks poised to pour a second bottle down the python&#8217;s gullet as it is held helplessly up in the air.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/20\/08\/76789627-12652581-image-m-33_1697787964811.jpg\" height=\"381\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>These drunken yobs are being hunted in South Africa for animal cruelty after force-feeding Carling Black Label lager down the throat of a terrified python<\/p>\n<p>UK snake expert Michael Grover said on his reptile website that even a tiny amount of alcohol can be deadly and it causes &#8216;disorientation and a loss of co-ordination&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>He said: &#8216;If a snake drinks alcohol it can be fatal as it is highly toxic to them and can cause severe damage to its liver and other organs leading to organ failure and death&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The angry National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA) has uploaded the sickening video onto its SA website and is appealing for information.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesman said: &#8216;This is a threatened or protected species of African rock python being effectively tortured and we will bring the full force of the law into play.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The snake is being force fed with beer and it is clearly cruelty and it is causing the python immense suffering and it could very well have caused a painful death for it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/20\/08\/76789043-12652581-image-a-2_1697786312923.jpg\" height=\"1117\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The boozers grabbed the protected six-foot-long reptile as they partied in the bush and prised open its jaws and poured a quart of beer into the stricken creature<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/20\/08\/76789035-12652581-image-a-3_1697786342605.jpg\" height=\"476\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>African Rock Pythons are known as Threatened or Protected Species and can grow to over 20ft long and weigh over 200lbs and kill by constricting prey<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/20\/08\/76789037-12652581-image-a-4_1697786348000.jpg\" height=\"634\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Two men held the snake upright and a third man emptied a whole 750ml bottle of Canadian Carling Black Label lager (pictured) down the python&#8217;s throat\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;A full investigation is underway and any substantial information will be of great help as it is difficult to trace perpetrators from an anonymous video posted online.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The public outrage on social media has born full testament to the fact that animal cruelty is not only not accepted in South Africa but also won&#8217;t be tolerated&#8217; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with any information can call the NSPCA Special Projects Unit at +27 11 907 3590 or email specialprojects@nscpa.co.za and their identity will be fully protected.<\/p>\n<p>Que Pasa wrote beneath the video on the NSPCA website: &#8216;How utterly despicable. May these people get dealt with by the heaviest hand of the law.
