DO you want to have an expensive-looking wardrobe but don\u2019t want to spend a fortune to achieve it?<\/p>\n

You may simply need to get down to your local charity shop.<\/p>\n

A woman has shared 10 basic items you can pick up secondhand for a couple of quid which will instantly update your look and make you look more wealthy.<\/p>\n

Charity shop pro Monica uploaded a video, saying: \u201cYou do not need to spend thousands to have an expensive-looking wardrobe.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver 90 per cent of what I own is secondhand.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere are 10 things to look out for in charity shops to look and feel expensive.\u201d<\/p>\n

First up was a striped jumper, with Monica explaining: \u201cYou can never go wrong with stripes, these are a royal favourite and so easy to find and decide.\u201d<\/p>\n

Next<\/span> up was to find a quality blazer.<\/p>\n

She added on her @themonicaway account: \u201cQuality is key so look out for the fabric composition.\u201d<\/p>\n

Monica said the third item is to find \u201cballet flats\u201d, saying: \u201cballet flats are back and they are so elegant and easy to wear, always make sure to check they are leather.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fifth was \u201cleather bags\u201d and you should keep your eyes peeled for \u201colder bags which feature a leather body or trim.\u201d<\/p>\n

  8. Desirable labels<\/li>\n
  9. Pearly jewellery<\/li>\n
  10. Tan bags<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Elegant blouses were also a key find, as they are \u201ceasy to dress up or down\u201d and they are \u201csuper elegant.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Monica added that you should opt for cotton, silk or linen blouses and ones with a high neck or full sleeves are the best.<\/p>\n

    She added that the right blouse will make you always feel \u201cput together.\u201d<\/p>\n

    You should next look out for \u201canything cashmere\u201d and the shopper claims \u201cnothing says luxury<\/span> like cashmere.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Monica said you should also look for \u201cdesirable brands\u201d and labels from the likes of Ralph Lauren, Moschino, Burberry, Abercrombie and Reiss.<\/p>\n

    Ninth on the list was \u201cpearly jewellery\u201d as it\u2019s \u201ctimeless\u201d and \u201ceasy to style.\u201d<\/p>\n
