She ticks all of the boxes, and has a wealth of experience.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Plus, she would come off of the Strictly high.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Former journalist Ms Scanlon, 39, is amongst the favourites to reach the Strictly final later this year and currently presents Your Home Made Perfect on BBC Two.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/29\/00\/77128635-0-image-a-121_1698536203946.jpg\" height=\"793\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Strictly&#8217;s Angela Scanlon is being considered as a potential replacement for Holly Willoughby on ITV&#8217;s This Morning<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/29\/00\/77128643-0-image-m-124_1698536222906.jpg\" height=\"1032\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>ITV bosses have decided to hold live auditions to find the perfect successor to Willoughby in the coming weeks, with sources saying they will test a number of potential anchors<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/29\/00\/77128637-0-image-m-125_1698536232123.jpg\" height=\"468\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Executives are using Josie Gibson&#8217;s absence while she is appearing on I&#8217;m A Celebrity&#8230; Get Me Out Of Here, to look for a new face for when the show relaunches next year<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, ITV bosses have decided to hold live auditions to find the perfect star to replace Holly Willoughby on the This Morning sofa in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>With presenter Josie Gibson, 38, who hosts two or three times a week, going to Australia to appear on I&#8217;m A Celebrity&#8230; Get Me Out Of Here!, executives are using the opportunity to audition for another to take over when the programme is relaunched in the new year.<\/p>\n<p>Sources at the network say that they will &#8216;test the chemistry and likeability&#8217; of a number of potential anchors.<\/p>\n<p>They also say that they are primarily looking for a woman as they hope to still sign Ben Shephard, 48, to take over Phillip Schofield&#8217;s role in January.
