<\/p>\nSTRICTLY Come Dancing fans are convinced Amanda Abbington secretly returned to the show after her shock exit.<\/p>\n
Amanda, 51, dramatically left the competition for good after pulling out of week five over "undisclosed medical reasons".<\/p>\n

The actress had been partnered with Giovanni Pernice, 33, but she failed to thank him in her exit statement.<\/p>\n
It looks like she might have returned during Saturday's show, though, according to some viewers.<\/p>\n
They spotted a cloaked figure in the background of one shot and joked that it was the Sherlock star.<\/p>\n
One wrote on Twitter, "#Strictly is that Amanda back in the cloak?"<\/p>\n
And in a Reddit threated titled, "Anyone know who the cloaked person is in tonight\u2019s show?" more had their say.<\/p>\n "Amanda?" and, "Amanda Abbington," some wrote – with someone replying, "Haha I had a feeling it might be her \u2026."<\/p>\n After her departure, the London native shared a quote by the late actor and comedian\u00a0Robin Williams\u00a0– but then deleted it.<\/p>\n The post seemingly read: "People don't fake depression\u2026 they fake being okay. Remember that. Be kind."<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Speaking of her exit, an insider told\u00a0The Telegraph: \u201cIt could be that she didn't know what she let herself in for.'<\/p>\n \u201cFrom the very beginning they weren't gelling. Obviously they were putting a brave face on it, but the issue was clearly not being solved.\u201d<\/p>\n The source continued: \u201cHe was quite tough and she found that difficult. If she wasn't very well, that wouldn't have helped.<\/p>\n "She was with a partner that had a certain training style that she couldn't cope with. Whether that came to a head or whether there's something else going on I don't know.\u201d<\/p>\n Amanda herself had told she had been feeling \u201cfragile\u201d in a video shared by her fianc\u00e9 Jonathan Goodwin.<\/p>\n She added that she \u201chad welled up upstairs in tears thinking about having to put my dance shoes on again".<\/p>\n The Sun reported last month how\u00a0Amanda and her Italian dance partner Giovanni had clashed\u00a0\u2014 with the actress threatening to quit over the dance pro\u2019s \u201cmilitant\u201d attitude to training.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/newspress-collage-24568300-1698660008903.jpg\")
