Friends star Matthew Perry dies aged 54<\/h3>\n

Following his tragic death on Saturday, October 28th, the Los Angeles County coroner has released Matthew Perry\u2019s body to his family for funeral arrangements.<\/p>\n

This comes after it was revealed his cause of death is still being determined after he died in an apparent drowning at 54 years old<\/p>\n

The Friends star was reportedly found unresponsive after emergency services responded to calls for a possible cardiac arrest.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, the actor had played a two-hour Pickleball game, before sending his assistant on an errand.<\/p>\n

When the assistant returned it was said they found Perry unresponsive in his hot tub.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, medics attempted a \u201cwater rescue\u201d but efforts to revive the star were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at his LA home.<\/p>\n

The news was first reported by TMZ whose sources claim Perry was discovered in a jacuzzi.<\/p>\n

It was also noted foul play was not suspected, with drugs not found near his body.<\/p>\n

In a gut-wrenching statement, Perry\u2019s family shared: \u201cWe are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother.<\/p>\n

As news of the actor’s death landed on social media, millions of fans and Perry\u2019s Hollywood friends issued heartfelt tributes.<\/p>\n

This also included his Friends cast members, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow who broke their silence with a joint statement.<\/p>\n

It read: \u201cWe are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family.<\/p>\n
