JON Kay was forced to adjust his outfit as he accidentally "flashed" some flesh on BBC Breakfast this morning. <\/p>\n

Jon, 53, was joined by Sally Nugent, 52, on the iconic red sofa when he experienced the wardrobe mishap.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

During a segment, the hosts interviewed BBC Radio 1 DJ Jordan North and etiquette expert William Hanson about their new podcast, Help I Sexted My Boss.<\/p>\n

As they were walking onto the set, Jordan spilled the beans that William had actually called out John's look.<\/p>\n

He told the hosts: "William noticed a little faux pas with one of you guys this morning. Like as soon as we walked in and we saw you on the telly, he said, 'John's socks are a bit loose'."<\/p>\n

William then pointed directly at John's foot, criticising it on air and mentioning that he was showing a bit of leg between his socks and trousers.<\/p>\n

The expert said: "It's a bit loose, but I only know this because when I last did Breakfast, Charlie [Stayt] and I had a whole off-air conversation about the right sock length."<\/p>\n

Slightly red-faced, John reached down to adjust his socks after the comment was made.<\/p>\n

Making light of the situation, Jordan said: "You are showing a bit of leg for the nans, the nans love that."<\/p>\n

Jon then quipped: "The nans love that."<\/p>\n

"Well it is a lovely sock, you are showing a bit of leg for the nans," William joked joining in on the banter.<\/p>\n

Jon then turned to the etiquette expert and asked: "Should I be pulling my socks further down or not?"<\/p>\n

"Maybe you should, or perhaps you could consider wearing sock garters, those things that go around your leg. You don't want there to be too much of a gap," William suggested.<\/p>\n

John burst into laughter and exclaimed, "I'm definitely not wearing a garter!"<\/p>\n
