reactions to cheese and jalapeno peppers died after eating a pizza after a night out with workmates, an inquest has heard.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Construction engineer Robin Wynne Williams, 46, was found dead in his motorhome in Bangor, North Wales, in March after suffering an\u00a0anaphylactic reaction.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Williams was out celebrating the completion of repairs to\u00a0Anglesey&#8217;s Menai suspension bridge, where he was staying 80 miles from his home of\u00a0Llangollen.<\/p>\n<p>The inquest heard that he had previously been told to avoid jalape\u00f1os due to suspected allergies &#8211; but Mr Williams disregarded the advice.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Williams called his partner,\u00a0Karen Maurice, telling her that he was having a reaction the pizza he had just eaten, and was experiencing &#8216;tingly&#8217; lips as well as well as lumps on his legs.\u00a0He confessed to her that this had also happened in the past.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/14\/18\/77793679-12748949-image-m-6_1699986780837.jpg\" height=\"726\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Construction engineer Robin Wynne Williams, 46, was found dead in his motorhome in Bangor, North Wales, in March after suffering an anaphylactic reaction<\/p>\n<p>Ms Maurice told him to drink lots of water as it had previously eased similar symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>The hearing was told he suffered an anaphylactic reaction to cheese and jalape\u00f1o chillis on the topping.<\/p>\n<p>He was discovered dead in his motorhome parked in pub car park while working away from home.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Riley, assistant coroner for north west Wales, said the construction engineer had been on a night out with workmates in the Menai Bridge area of North Wales in March.<\/p>\n<p>He then made contact with his partner Ms Maurice at 9.50pm that evening at Llangollen, North Wales.<\/p>\n<p>She said: &#8216;He mentioned during the phone call that he was having a reaction to a pizza he had eaten, and that it had happened on numerous occasions in the past.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The inquest heard he did not get medical help and made arrangements to be home the following day.<\/p>\n<p>But his partner later became concerned about him &#8211; and rang The Antelope Inn in Bangor where he had been parked in his motorhome.<\/p>\n<p>When staff told her it was still parked up, she travelled to the car park and found him in the motorhome&#8217;s toilet cubicle.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/14\/18\/77793809-12748949-image-a-2_1699985170892.jpg\" height=\"924\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The inquest heard that he had previously been told to avoid jalape\u00f1os due to suspected allergies &#8211; but Mr Williams disregarded the advice<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/14\/18\/77794885-12748949-image-a-20_1699986987886.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The inquest heard he did not get medical help and made arrangements to be home the following day<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/14\/18\/77794045-12748949-image-a-4_1699985179886.jpg\" height=\"421\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The hearing was told he suffered an anaphylactic reaction to cheese and jalape\u00f1o chillis on the topping (Stock image of pizza)<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics were called and he was declared dead there at 6.14pm that evening.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Williams, of Llangollen, was formally identified by his partner Ms Maurice.<\/p>\n<p>A post mortem examination was carried out by consultant pathologist Dr Huyam Abdalsalam at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd hospital in Bodelwyddan.<\/p>\n<p>She ruled Mr Williams suffered an anaphylactic shock caused by a food allergy.<\/p>\n<p>Miss Riley gave a narrative conclusion saying: &#8216;There has been a history of a reaction to cheese and jalape\u00f1os or a combination.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>She said Mr Williams had been warned to avoid the jalapeno peppers even if allergy tests proved negative.<\/p>\n<p>She added: &#8216;On the evidence and considering the balance of probabilities it is more likely there was an anaphylactic shock as a result of an allergy to food consumed.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a
