with underage student nearly a decade ago &#8211; and cops warn she could have more victims<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Melissa Curtis allegedly had sex with a boy at her Montgomery County school more than 20 times when she was 22 and he was 14\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>She is also charged with supplying alcohol and marijuana to her eight-grade victim and was arrested this morning after the victim came forward<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>She later moved to a nearby school and police fear she may have other victims\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Police in Maryland are appealing for more victims to come forward after they arrested a 31-year-old former middle student teacher over months of sexual abuse against a 14-year-old boy.<\/p>\n<p>Melissa Marie Curtis turned herself in to Montgomery County Police this morning after a warrant was issued for her arrest on multiple counts of sexual abuse.<\/p>\n<p>The former Montgomery Village Middle School teacher had sex with the eighth-grader at least 20 times, both at her home in and at his in 2015 according to charging documents.<\/p>\n<p>She allegedly gave him oral sex in a classroom at the school in Watkins Mill Road, abused him at a nearby movie theatre and had sex in both the bedroom and living room of her mother&#8217;s house in Germantown.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The incidents continued for several months while the victim was a student at Montgomery Village Middle School, and Curtis was a teacher at the same school,&#8217; Montgomery County Police said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/07\/23\/77530239-12722633-Melissa_Marie_Curtis_allegedly_conducted_a_four_month_campaign_o-a-9_1699401366462.jpg\" height=\"759\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Melissa Marie Curtis allegedly conducted a four-month campaign of sexual abuse against an eighth-grade pupil when she was 22 and he was 14<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/07\/23\/77530249-12722633-image-a-3_1699400690949.jpg\" height=\"317\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The former middle school teacher allegedly performed oral sex on her victim in a classroom at\u00a0Montgomery Village Middle School in Maryland<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/07\/23\/77530247-12722633-image-m-6_1699400853427.jpg\" height=\"290\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Investigators fear she may have claimed more victims when she moved to Lakelands Park Middle School in the nearby DC suburb\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;All of the incidents took place within Montgomery County.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Detectives suspect that there may be additional victims and would like to speak with them.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Curtis of Upper Marlboro had been a teacher at the middle school for two years before the abuse began in January 2015 when she was 22.<\/p>\n<p>She gave the boy alcohol and marijuana, and also encouraged him to perform oral sex on her before the abuse ended in May of that year.<\/p>\n<p>She later moved to Lakelands Park Middle School in a nearby DC suburb, but a spokesperson for Montgomery County Public Schools said Curtis has not been employed with the district since 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Police began their investigation early last month when the boy who is now an adult came forward with the allegations.<\/p>\n<p>She is charged with sexual abuse of a minor and multiple counts of third and fourth-degree sexual offenses, and is being held on bond ahead of her first court appearance.<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12722633\/Maryland-teacher-montgomery-melissa-curtis.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read Full Article<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Female Maryland middle school teacher Melissa Curtis, 31, is accused of &#8216;engaging in sex acts&#8217;
