A HOST on Homes Under the Hammer was moved to tears after being shown around the new property of a formerly homeless mum.<\/p>\n

Martel Maxwell got emotional while listening to the plans Nicole had for the \u00a3115k house. <\/p>\n

The new owner shared that she wanted to renovate the building and team up with the local council in Nuneaton or a charity to help another rough sleeper rent their first home.<\/p>\n

Although Nicole broke one of the show's golden rules when purchasing the house, Martel held back from telling her off when she heard the mum's inspirational story.<\/p>\n

The mum admitted that she sent her son Jeremiah to bid on the property without viewing it. <\/p>\n

But she then explained the reasons behind wanting to rent the house out to people who are struggling financially, saying: "I, myself, was homeless so I kind of know how it feels.<\/p>\n

"So when I do actually rent out a place it's done up to not a luxurious level, but it's done to a decent level.<\/p>\n

"You see the look on a person's face when they actually get the keys and they're excited and it just makes me feel nice, so I think that's probably why I do it."<\/p>\n

Her 16-year-old son then added: "I feel very proud to say that Nicole is my mother. I feel like she's just done a lot and she helps a lot of people and I feel like it's a beautiful thing to do."<\/p>\n

The Homes Under the Hammer host could be seen wiping away tears as the pair spoke.<\/p>\n

An emotional Martel then shared: "It's so lovely. As a mum I would love my child to be towering above me one day and saying 'I'm so proud of you, mum' – but what she's done is incredible, just amazing, well done.<\/p>\n

"I'm not gonna give you a hard time anymore for not viewing the property, because frankly it doesn't really matter, does it? Anything can be fixed!"<\/p>\n
