Crunchy clothes is a term used when there's soap residue in your clothes from all the times they have been washed, making them uncomfortable to wear.<\/p>\n

TikTok user Krystalynn Gier (@KrystalynnGier) received a comment from a viewer asking for laundry tips.<\/p>\n
"Whenever I air dry my clothes, they come out really stiff and uncomfortable," the person wrote. "Is there a way to avoid this or is that just part of air drying?"<\/p>\n
Krystalynn said she knew exactly what the problem was and offered her advice.<\/p>\n
"Air drying your clothes will keep them in tip-top shape," she said. "It saves you money and is good for the planet.<\/p>\n
"If you're struggling with crunchy clothes after air drying, try one of these three things and see if it works for you."<\/p>\n
The first tip Krystalynn suggested was using less detergent or fabric softener. <\/p>\n
