Town&#8217;s 30ft tall festive showpiece is slammed by locals as &#8217;embarrassing&#8217; and compared to the Leaning Tower of Pisa<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The festive tree, in March, Cambridgeshire, was put up earlier this month<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>One critic said it looked as though it was &#8216;plonked down without much care&#8217;\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A town&#8217;s wonky Christmas Tree has been slammed as &#8217;embarrassing&#8217; and compared to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.<\/p>\n<p>The festive tree, in March, Cambridgeshire, was put up earlier this month, but many residents noted how it is leaning sharply.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One said it looked as though it had been &#8216;plonked down without much care&#8217;, while another branded it &#8216;ridiculous&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The volunteers who put up the 30ft tree defended its appearance, insisting that they did not &#8216;physically choose&#8217; it and it was down to &#8216;luck&#8217; which one they received from their supplier.<\/p>\n<p>However, other residents pointed out that the tree itself appears to be straight and that it just needed to be installed correctly.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/24\/12\/78196175-12787015-image-a-89_1700828676887.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>A town&#8217;s wonky Christmas Tree has been slammed as &#8217;embarrassing&#8217; and compared to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
