HORROR hits the Dales when newcomer Suni Sharma is targeted in a brutal attack.<\/p>\n

The Emmerdale hunk is taken to hospital and revenge plans are being discussed when the identity of the culprit is revealed. <\/p>\n

Suni (played by Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) rocked up the ITV village earlier this year just in time for Jai Sharma's wedding with Laurel Thomas. <\/p>\n

While he witnessed plenty of drama unfold in the eponymous village since he first settled into the Dales, Suni is due for his own shocking storyline next week as he gets attacked. <\/p>\n

Later, at the hospital,\u00a0Suni\u2019s sitting up, looking a bit brighter as he talks to Ethan Anderson (Emile John).<\/p>\n

Ethan is taken aback by the sudden change in Suni\u2019s mood as he recalls the attack. <\/p>\n

To their surprise, determined Ethan hands them a note with the attacker\u2019s name on – could he be lying? <\/p>\n

In later scenes, Ethan announces that Suni\u2019s attacker has been arrested and Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) wastes no time in informing Caleb and Amit. <\/p>\n

Suni's boyfriend Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) and Amit share a worried look when, despite the good news about Mike's arrest, Suni remains glum.<\/p>\n

Nicky and Amit were at each other's throats in earlier scenes of the Yorkshire-based program. <\/p>\n

Caleb's son discovered that Amit was present in Rishi Sharma's home before he tripped and fell down his stairs to his death. <\/p>\n

After making the discovery, Nicky confronted Amit but he was soon welcomed with a fist to the face. <\/p>\n
