KING Charles broke into a cheeky smile during a Coronation rehearsal gaffe in an outtake from this year's Coronation.<\/p>\n

Footage from a dress run-through days before the Coronation shows the King practicing for the moment he would be crowned.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Charles is seen wearing a suit and blue tie under his golden Supertunica and holding two sceptres while sitting on St Edward's Chair at Westminster Abbey.<\/p>\n

As Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, gets his lines in a muddle while reading the blessing an aide quips: "You must have said this before?"<\/p>\n

Charles grins and giggles then shakes his head while laughing and says: "I knew that would happen."<\/p>\n

The Archbishop is filmed later saying: "I have a memory that is probably about as good as our spaniel's. In other words, zero.<\/p>\n

Behind the scenes footage from the Coronation the rehearsals plus Charles and Camilla on the morning of May's ceremony will feature in a BBC show which will be screened on Boxing Day.<\/p>\n

In a second clip released last night, Camilla is shown with her four pages walking through Buckingham Palace in her ivory Bruce Oldfied gown, on the morning of the Coronation.<\/p>\n

Walking gingerly, the Queen says: "Go very slowly" and worried "someone gets pulled over".<\/p>\n

The Queen's equerry Major Ollie Plunkett advised: "Just be careful of Her Majesty's dress."<\/p>\n

Camilla adds: "You won't tread on my dress."<\/p>\n

She cheerfully described her pages, three grandsons, Gus and Louis Lopes and Freddy Parker Bowles, and her great-nephew Arthur Elliot, as "all the lads"<\/p>\n

Charles was also seen trying on his Robe of State and waving the lapels joking: "I can fly."<\/p>\n

And adds: "Do we go get ourselves organised down there?"<\/p>\n

The new King and Queen are seen leaving Buckingham Palace to climb on board the Diamond Jubilee State Carriage.<\/p>\n

The Marchioness of Lansdowne, who was one of the two assistants to the Queen for the Coronation, in May, said: "It wasn't until we were all ready we all actually came together, to see each other for the first time, she (Camilla) hadn't seen our dresses, she didn't know what we going to look like, and we hadn't seen her dress, and that was very special moment, that was when it was quite like a wedding it was the bridesmaids going to see the bride."<\/p>\n

She added: "There was just a really exciting moment of just getting them into that carriage for the first time and then we knew we were off."<\/p>\n

Camilla's sister, Annabel Elliot, who was also an assistant at the ceremony said: "I thought back of, being two-years-old and watching the Queen's Coronation on a tiny black and white television, and there goes this golden coach, with my sister in it.<\/p>\n

The hilarious and touching behind the scenes moments are revealed in a 90-minute documentary Charles III: The Coronation Year, which will air on BBC on Boxing Day.<\/p>\n
