A woman in a relationship with a man 13 years her junior has revealed people often mistake her for his mother.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mel Moon, 43, from Burnley, has been married to her husband Alfie, 30, since 2021 – but says people who don’t know the pair make judgments about their romance.<\/p>\n
She also claimed that people assume that Alfie is only with her for her money – and joked she doesn’t have enough money for him to be able to take.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The mother-of-three, who often posts about her marriage on TikTok, took to her page to post a hilarious video poking fun at the age gap between herself and Alfie.<\/p>\n
The clip, which racked up over 240,000 views, was captioned: ‘My husband and I are in an age gap relationship. Hopefully this clears things up haha.<\/p>\n

The comedian and Alfie went onto reveal details about their age-gap relationship.<\/p>\n
She said: ‘We have an age gap relationship so at least once when we go out somebody will refer to me as his mum.<\/p>\n
Alfie then chimed in: ‘We are in an age gap relationship and when she refers to our childhood she really means hers, because I wasn’t even born yet.’<\/p>\n
Mel explained that as a result of her man being younger, she doesn’t have to worry about him playing with her emotions.<\/p>\n
She said: ‘We are in an age gap relationship, so when I tell him to stop playing games, I mean literal PS5 games, not games with my feelings.’<\/p>\n
Alfie added: ‘We are in an age gap relationship and what the f**k are Werther’s originals?’<\/p>\n
While Mel said: ‘We are in an age gap relationship and no, I don’t think Central Cee is the Shakespeare of our time.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
Alfie then added: ‘We are in an age gap relationship and I like to go to bed at normal times. But she likes to go to bed at the same time as my nan.’<\/p>\n
