Hollywood royalty mingle with daytime TV stars at Fashion Awards

Hollywood royalty line up along reality and daytime TV stars at the British Fashion Awards where it seems EVERYONE was invited: Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rosie Huntington Whiteley join the likes of Amanda Holden and Helen Flanagan on the red carpet

The British Fashion Awards boasted a very diverse red carpet on Monday night, where a host of Hollywood A-listers rubbed shoulders with British daytime TV stars at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The likes of Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley strutted their stuff into the glamorous soiree closely followed on by Heart Breakfast host Amanda Holden, soap star Helen Flanagan and Love Island’s Zara McDermott as stars from opposite ends of the celebrity spectrum came together to toast the best of fashion. 

Fashion royalty Kate, 49, looked sensational on the red carpet as she modelled a plunging black gown with a thigh high split that flashed her famous legs. 

Oscar-winner Gwyneth cut an elegant figure in Valentino for the event, looking gorgeous in a strapless red maxi dress with plunging cut-out neckline that tease a glimpse of her ample cleavage. 

The 51-year-old actress also wore a matching sheer coat which was adorned with perfectly placed sequins and feathers.

Former Love Island host Laura Whitmore joined contestants Zara McDermott and Tasha Ghouri as well as TOWIE star Sam Faiers as reality stars stormed the red carpet 

Meanwhile, supermodel Rosie, 36, dazzled as she flashed her abs in a cut-out black dress with a thigh high split that put her enviably long legs on display. 

Heart FM’s Breakfast host Amanda, 52, opted for a mini dress with a dramatic train that put her tanned and toned pins on display. She attended the bash with her model daughter Lexi, 17. 

Daring to flash the flesh was former Coronation Street actress Helen, 33, who wowed in a cut out black gown with lace detailing on the bodice that highlighted her ample chest. 

Zara, 26, also put on a busty display for the soiree as she slipped into a skintight, strapless silver gown that clung to her phenomenal figure.  

Anne Hathaway looked as chic as ever in a low-cut yellow dress and silver necklace as she made her appearance, while actress Lily James opted for a beautiful cut-out navy number. 

Love Island presenter Maya Jama, 29 – who was the host for the event – commanded attention in a white corset-style dress with sexy stockings as she posed up a storm before later changing into two other outfits.

Also on the red carpet was Abbey Clancy, 37, who showed off her physique in a black lace number.

Radio presenter Ashley Roberts, 42, wore a leggy green gown which had a plunging neckline and boosted her height with black strappy heels.

She wore her dark tresses pulled back and opted for a slick of pink lip

Elsewhere model Sara Sampaio, 32, commanded attention in a tired white dress which she wore with glamorous black gloves while Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock wore a backless red dress.

Also arriving to the red carpet was TV presenter Laura Whitmore, 38, who wore a black mini dress with sexy lace tights as she worked her best angles for the camera. 

In addition, Myleene Klass looked sensational in a revealing sheer lace black gown as she beamed for the cameras.

Nicole Scherzinger pulled out all the stops as she hit the red carpet with her fiancé Thom Evans.

The singer, 45, stood out from the crowd in a striking green ballgown, covered in a layer of sheer black mesh.

Meanwhile Ellie Goulding, 36, had dressed aptly for the weather as she wrapped up in a cropped black padded bomber jacket. 

It seemed as though the hitmaker had grabbed the jacket last minute as she let it hang just off her shoulders for snaps.

Abbey showed off her physique in a black lace number which highlighted her toned abs

The dress had tiered tassel detailing and was worn with simple white heels

In addition, Sam Smith cut a stylish figure as they graced the red carpet. The non-binary singer, 31, put on a very leggy display in a thigh skimming black mini skirt and towering Vivienne Westwood platform boots. 

Sam, who was honoured with the Cultural Innovator Award at the event, completed the ensemble with chic blazer which boasted dramatic shoulder pads and statement buttons. 

The Cultural Innovator Award honours figures in the entertainment industry who have created viral fashion moments, like Sam’s unforgettable latex clad appearance at the 2023 Brit Awards. 

Pamela Anderson went fresh-faced as she attended the event. The model, 56, who has been embracing her natural beauty at red carpet events, wore a chic cream suit by Stella McCartney.

The event, presented by jewellery brand Pandora returned to the iconic London venue and attracted some huge names. 

Leading industry figures were recognised such as Valentino Garavani with the Outstanding Achievement award, make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury with the Special Recognition Award, and the late Joe Casely-Hayford with a posthumous special recognition award.

South Londoner Kai Isaiah Jamal was nominated for the model of the year gong along with the likes of Paloma Elsesser and Alton Mason.  

The event served as the main fundraiser for the BFC Foundation which supports the future growth and success of the British fashion industry through its focus on education, grant-giving, and business mentoring.

Also on the red carpet FKA Twigs, 35, who’s real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, left little to the imagination as she strutted her stuff in a very racy chainmail gown.

Her halter neck frock boasted dazzling beaded embellishments as well as cuts outs at her toned and tiny waist. 

Elsewhere Michelle Keegan, 36, wore a dress with tiny, bra-style top part and a flowing skirt featuring a thigh-high split.

She accessorised with black, over-the-knee, lace-up heeled boots which were open-toed.

The BFC is also going back to having some gender-based design awards for the first time since the pandemic, splitting the best British designers into menswear and womenswear categories. 

On Friday, it was revealed that the British singer Sam would accept the Cultural Innovator Award on stage.

Guests have previously included Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa, with Bella Hadid winning model of the year in 2022. 

Caroline Rush, chief executive of the British Fashion Council, said: ‘It is imperative the awards are reflective of our incredibly multifaceted industry and its brands and creatives.’

The model, 31, who revealed she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Robert Pattinson at a music festival in Mexico, wore a strapless tulle gown for the event. 

Walking the red carpet at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall, Suki looked incredible in the voluminous burgundy dress with a 3D floral appliqué. 

Meanwhile Rochelle Humes turned heads at the event on Monday after delaying her trip to Australia to see her husband Marvin. 

The presenter, 34, walked the red carpet at London’s Royal Albert Hall in a sheer bejewelled gown while the JSL star, 38, toughs it out in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

She opted for a stunning gold dress with a cape-like top, cut-out sections and cream satin skirt. 

Lila Moss mirrored her famous mum Kate as she walked the red carpet. The model, 21, wore a sheer metallic slip dress reminiscent of her mother’s 1993 Liza Bruce dress, complete with black underwear. 

Featuring cut-out sections and thins straps, the silver gown, by Nensi Dojaka, was completed with a pleated bra top and low back.
