    Werner snubs Man Utd

RB Leipzig ace Timo Werner has snubbed a January move to Manchester United.

Werner has emerged as a surprise target for United who are looking for attacking reinforcement.

However, Sky report the striker is prepared to stay at Leipzig and fight for his place instead of moving to Old Trafford.

The Germany international has been limited to just four starts for the Bundesliga giants so far this season, scoring two goals.

    Man Utd in trouble

Manchester United drew 3-3 with Galatasaray at Ali Sami Yen Stadium and are still bottom of Group A.

United are now one point behind Copenhagen and Galata, who are second and third respectively.

The Red Devils face top of the group Bayern Munich, who have sealed first place, at Old Trafford next.

The Manchester giants need to beat Bayern and hope the other two draw to make the Last 16.

    Scholding

Paul Scholes hit out at Bruno Fernandes after United 3-3 draw versus Galatasaray.

The pundit said to TNT Sports: "I know in his interview he is talking about mistakes, but he made two big mistakes tonight by giving two stupid fouls away that lead to two goals.

"The full team, including himself as the captain, have to take responsibility – itā€™s a game they should win.

"They just cannot keep clean sheets – the defence is all over the place, the keeper is making mistakes, Bruno giving away cheap free-kicks.

"It makes the game difficult for them every time and they donā€™t need to do that."

    Fer real

Bruno Fernandes admitted he and United made huge mistakes against Galatasaray.

He told TNT Sports: "It was another game where we could have closed the game.

"We had too many chances, as I've said, and mistakes by ourselves. It's too bad, to be honest.

"I don't want to be too negative, but what we've been doing in the Champions League is not enough.

"We have to control our games every time, it's not the first game we've had like this."

    Rule breakers

Galatasaray have been accused of breaking a little-known rule to score their first goal against Manchester United, with some claiming it should have been disallowed.

Hakim Ziyech sparked the hosts' comeback as he whipped a free-kick past Andre Onana afterĀ UnitedĀ had raced into a 2-0 lead.

However the goal could have been chalked off as Mauro Icardi appeared to commit an infringement as the shot was taken.

That's because he was only 61 centimetres away from Rasmus Hojlund, who was standing in the wall, according toĀ beIN SPORTS.

That's less space than the should be allowed to have.

    Captain material

Bruno Fernandes gave fans a glimpse as to why he is Manchester United captain during their crazy Champions League draw with Galatasaray.

He was a cool head in the fiery Turkish atmosphere as he calmed down young team-mate Alejandro Garnacho after he scored.

And the stats prove the four players brought on had very little impact on the match as the Red Devils' in-game alterations proved costly.

    Hargreaves reacts

Owen Hargreaves reckons United are making too many mistakes, given the incredible amount of goals theyā€™ve scored.

He told TNT Sports: ā€œUnited scored three in Munich and lost, three in Copenhagen and lost and three again here and didnā€™t win. If you had said before [those games] that you would score that amount of goals, no one would ever have believed you.

ā€œThey are scoring enough goals but making mistakes which are costly in the Champions League.ā€

    Ten Hag doesn't blame Onana

Ten Hag refused to single out Onana when discussing the goals conceded tonight.

He said: ā€œI think every goal we conceded has its own story. They come from transition moments that we spoke about and we donā€™t block the middle.

ā€œThe second we gave away a needless free kick but we have to defend the free kick better.

ā€œAnd the third we were organised but got run off. It can never happen, you get punished for mistakes in the Champions League.

ā€œWeā€™ll fix that [losing a lot of goals]. Iā€™m very pleased, you can see the style of this team; proactive, dynamic and brave. We created so many chances.ā€

    Ten Hag reacts

On the disappointment of dropping two points, he told TNT Sports: ā€œWe should have taken all three points, clearly.

ā€œBut we should have done that in other games, too. Away to Copenhagen, home to Galatasaray, we play so good.

ā€œFor that I have to compliment the team but at the same time I have to criticise them as defending we arenā€™t good enough.

ā€œWinning 3-1, we canā€™t afford to make these mistakes as it makes the difference.ā€

    Galatasaray level

Chaos in Turkey – Ziyech threads a pass from wide on the right into the path of Akturkoglu who takes a wonderful first touch.

That sets him up inside the box perfectly and he smashes his second touch beyond Onana and into the net.

It flies by the keeper at his front post and the stadium goes bonkers.

    Onana howler

Galatasaray score – it is 3-2 to United.

An awful error sees Onana somehow let a simple grasp from a Ziyech free-kick spin into his own net.

The keeper cost them Ā£47m – and he's costing them a lot more on the park.

    McTominay scores

Scott McTominay is in amongst the goals again.

    United now lead 3-1.

It's a peach of a counter attack and Wan-Bissaka is sent down the right as the United players flood the box.

McTominay meets the low cross and fires it into the net.
