Sadly, news anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy became the latest contestant to be eliminated after going head-to-head with Angela Rippon.

The 53-year-old found himself at the bottom of the leaderboard after being awarded a total of 25.

Despite judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke all opting to save Angela, Shirley Ballas revealed her vote would’ve been to save Krishnan.

Speaking about his exit, he said: “Look this has been the most incredible experience. I said it has been life-changing and it genuinely has.”

“The thing that has made Strictly really special is Lauren. She is the most incredible teacher, partner, and friend.
