Monday's Big Brother saw Hallie Clarke come out to her housemates as a transgender woman, later revealing that if she won the series she would spend the £100,000 prize money on completing her transition.
18 year old Hallie's admission left viewers emotional, with many sharing that they're already backing her to win the series.
Hallie told fellow housemates Jenkin, 25 and NHS manager Kerry, 40, that she started hormone therapy when she aged 16.
She explained the difficulties she has had with securing treatment due to long waiting lists, and revealed that she plans to have vaginoplasty surgery and pay her mother back for the years of treatment she paid for if she wins the £100,000 prize.
She added: “The mind doesn’t match the body, that’s the best way to describe being trans. I have a female mind, but the body just doesn’t match.”
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one wrote: "GIVE HALLIE THE MONEY NOW!!! she is in here for such a beautiful reason my god! Wanna cry at her story beautiful LOVE U HALLIE #BBUK [trans flag emoji]"
"i officially want hallie to win after she discussed what she would do with the money #BBUK" added another.
A third penned: "Hallie revealing she would pay £30k for a vagina to complete her transition was deep, if she wins the prize money her life will change is more ways than one! For an 18 year old Hallie is very mature"
And a fourth said: "Even if she doesn’t win the show I hope Hallie makes enough money from doing the show to get the surgery she deserves to fully be her true self [heart emoji]"
At just 18, Hallie is the youngest contestant to sign up for the show and has already proved popular with viewers, as one argued: "Okay Hallie needs to win, she needs to go all the way #BBUK"
A second fan simply commented: "What a remarkable, beautiful, intelligent young lady Hallie is! We are so proud of her for sharing her story and this couldn’t have come at a better time with the current state of society. Let’s get behind her and make her win this! #BBUK"
Ahead of her entry into the Big Brother house, Hallie explained why she applied to be on the show, sharing: "Just the whole experience. I feel like Big Brother is the biggest social experiment, and I want to be a part of it. It's about getting my face out there and just having fun, enjoying life.
"I'm only 18, so I didn't grow up watching it, but as I got older, I would watch clips on YouTube and stuff, so I've been a fan. And yeah, just for fun, really."
The self-proclaimed 'diva' said she loves to 'speak her mind,' but underneath it all, she's a 'girl's girl and a lovely person.'
And discussing what she thinks may see her nominated for eviction by her fellow housemates, revealing: "Being lazy and having an opinion. I'm quite opinionated, I like speaking my mind and not many people like that. I'm quite real."
