Beth, who lives in Texas, shared her worst date story on TikTok, where it has been viewed more than 1.8 million timesĀ

She said she told him to relax and it was ‘not that serious’ that he was late, while he swore on the phone, and was generally ‘pissed’ off and vocalizing his anger.Ā

She then admitted she found his greeting strange, recalling him walking up to her and saying ‘rawr’ before he hugged her like she was ‘the love of his life,’ but thingsĀ only got worse from there.

She said they then went on to have the ‘most awkward dinner’ ever.

‘I went to the bathroom twice just to escape, made friends with some friends in the bathroom and told them it was “the worst date ever” and how she was “trying to leave.”

‘He tried to hold my hand twice. I pulled away and said no.’

‘The second time he was like, “you’re not going to hold my hand?”‘ she recalled.

She did say that he paid for dinner, which was $127, even though she assured viewers she ‘offered to pay [her] side,’ before they walked around together for a bit.

Beth’s date then invited her to a cigar lounge – which she declined – but said she felt pressured to go to because she was ‘scared of him’ at that point.

Whatā€™s your worst first date? This is the *short* version of mine. #thelifeofbeth #datinginyour20s

When the pair tried to find where Beth’s date had parked his car, she said he was struggling to remember, adding that his actions led her to believe he was ‘drunk or high.’

He then admitted he was ‘nervous’ and got a few drinks before their date, and was now highly intoxicated.

Beth decided to help him find his car, using the keys to press unlock to try and locate it.

‘We start at the top and we work our way down. I’m so nice, I wanted to leave his bootay-tay-tay just sittingā€¦ but I’m nice so I tryā€¦ to help him find his car,’ she explained.

‘We can’t find his car… he starts to get very angry,’ she continued. ‘He’s throwing his food, yelling, hooting, hollering, screaming, kicking the pillarā€¦ like we’re in a parking garage.’

Security then drove past them in the garage, with Beth flagging them down to help them find her car, noting she had already begun filming the interaction with her date at that point.

The security team immediately jumped out of their car, where Beth assured them that ‘everything’s fine,’Ā  explaining it was a first date that had gone awry – and now he had lost his car.

She said her date became drunk and aggressive when she said no to holding his hand, and was scared

Thousands of people commented on the post, many suggesting he was playing drunk to go home with her, while others declared they wouldn’t have stuck around for the rest of the date

She asked the garage security to take over, which angered her date.

Beth said the manĀ  the yelled at her: ‘”You’re done with me aren’t you, you’re done. I’m never gonna hear from you again.”

‘The two security guards were just laughing with me likeā€¦ yeah dude.’

Although she deemed it the ‘worst date ever,’ Beth had learned a lot about safety on first dates.

‘But this why we take our own car, this is why we keep our phone fully charged and full of storage so we can record things,’ she shared.Ā

‘I already blocked his number in front of the security guards….’

Thousands of people commented on the post, many suggesting he was playing drunk to go home with her, while others declared they wouldn’t have stuck around for the rest of the date.

‘I have a sneaky feeling he was acting drunk so you’d drive him to your place because “he wouldn’t remember where he lives.”‘ one user suggested.

‘The way I would have just left him there to fend for himself, sorry not sorry,’ another wrote.

‘You’re so nice,’ someone else wrote. ‘But we need to stop being so nice.’
