Coronation Street: Ryan Connor considers online sex work
Over the past few weeks, Coronation Street fans have seen Eliza Woodrow (played by Savannah Kunyo) reunite with her estranged father Dom Everett (Darren Morfitt).
However, it has put a strain on her relationship with grandad Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows), who has made it no secret he isn’t Dom’s biggest fan.
Official spoilers for the soap reveal things are set to get worse for Stu as he has a run-in with the police over Eliza’s welfare.
In scenes set to air next week, Stu gets a call from the school to inform him that his granddaughter didn’t turn up.
Believing she’d already gone in early, he’s deeply concerned for her whereabouts.

Althought it’s not long before he realises her father must have something to do with it and goes to his house to get answers.
Accusing him of kidnapping Eliza in the night, he’s stunned when the child admits she ran away by herself and wants to stay with Dom.
Having been summoned by Stu, a social worker arrives with the police to try and de-escalate the situation and speak to the child.
Explaining it’s in Eliza’s best interest to stay with her dad at his house for now, Stu’s furious at what’s happening right before his eyes.

However, things quickly go from bad to worse for Stu when a police officer tries to usher him away,
Accidentally smacking him in the face, he’s horrified when the officers arrest him for assault as Dom watches on in satisfaction.
Later on, a social worker calls No.6 and informs him that Eliza wishes to remain at her father’s house, leaving Stu gutted.
Has he lost his granddaughter for good? Or will Eliza eventually see Dom’s mischievous side?
Since Dom’s arrival into their lives, Stu’s relationship with his granddaughter has worsened as he’s made it no secret he doesn’t like him.
In scenes next week, Eliza and Stu get involved in an argument after her father fails to show up at their arranged meeting place.
Insisting he doesn’t care about her, the child is furious and dashes across the road and is struck by a car.
Being rushed to the hospital to get checked over, she suffered from no major injuries as her dad finally showed up.
As Stu and Dom argue in the hospital, Eliza sides with her father and asks her grandad to leave.
Is Dom’s plan to put a wedge between them working?
