Emmerdale’s Victoria baby bombshell as paternity clue ‘confirmed’ during affair

Emmerdale fans have been gripped to their screens over the past few weeks as Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) and Victoria Sugden (Idabel Hodgins) continue their blossoming romance.

Loyal fans of the ITV soap will know the pair have been growing closer over the past few weeks after the hunk experienced his fair share of struggles in the dating world. It didn’t take long before sparks started flying between the pair while Jacob’s adoptive father David Metcalfe remains blissfully ignorant.

And on Wednesday (October 25) the duo took things to the next level when they slept together for the first time. It didn’t take long before tensions started rising on the street, after shopkeeper David noticed his son had quite the spring in his step after his wild night of passion with Victoria.

But since they have been intimate, Victoria has been giving him the cold shoulder to keep their romance a secret – especially around her former flame David. No, Daily Star has put one of the world’s most creatively ‘intelligent’ tools Bard AI through its paces as Victoria and Jacob continue to keep their new relationship under wraps.

When asked if their relationship could blossom into something more, the AI system predicted that the brunette beauty could find herself pregnant. It explained: “It is possible that Victoria could get pregnant with Jacob’s baby on Emmerdale.

“The show has been teasing a pregnancy twist for some time now, and Victoria and Jacob’s secret relationship is the perfect setup for such a storyline. There are a few factors that suggest that Victoria could become pregnant.”

The first clue the programme pointed out was that the pair have been having unprotected sex together. Another major clue is that Victoria has be open in the past about her desire to have children and become a mum.

The third clue the system raised is that the possibility of a secret love child would cause a lot of drama and conflict on the show, which it argues “Emmerdale producers are known for enjoying.” Fans of the show will know this won’t be the first time the chef has been pregnant on the show, after she gave birth to her rapist’s child back in 2019.

Speaking at the time, the actress explained how she prepared for the role by watching Channel 4’s One Born Every Minute in addition to live birth videos on YouTube. She told press: “It hasn’t made me broody at all because I know what’s to come. It’s exhausting – well done to anyone who does it. But no thank you.”

She went on: “I didn’t want anyone to pick apart the performance but I had nothing to draw on as I’ve never had to give birth. My sister is a mum of two kids under three but she was rubbish. She was just like, ‘I can’t remember’.”

In order to get a realist idea of what to expect, Isabel asked her co-stars who had given birth in the past for their account of the gruelling ordeal. The soap star went on: “I also asked Charley Webb, who plays Debbie Dingle, as she gave birth in July.

“She explained how you’re relieved that the baby is safe once you hear that cry. I also watched One Born Every Minute and videos on YouTube of women giving birth. I wanted my scenes to be believable so thank you to those women.”

Fans will have to stay tuned to see if the chef will become a mum for the second time or whether her and Jacob’s relationship will come to an end.

Emmerdale airs from Monday to Thursday on ITV1 from 7.30pm and on catch-up on ITVX.
