Steve Fletcher on why he wears two pairs of glasses
Steve Fletcher has explained why he wears two pairs of glasses while filming for The Repair Shop.
The clock restorer, who appears on the BBC series alongside his sister Suzie Fletcher, gave an insight during a clip shared to the show’s Instagram account.
Steve featured in the video with his co-star Lucia Scalisi, who questioned the expert on his glasses.
The clock restorer went on to reveal he wears two sets of glasses due to his eye-sight and health.
“I am with the mythical man that is Steve Fletcher,” Lucia began in the short clip.

“Here are the two sets of specs, have you always worn two sets of specs?”
“No, I used to have really good eyesight and I could see anything really close without glasses,” Steve replied.
“It is just in my old age,” Steve added before he shared a heartbreaking link to his dad.
The expert said: “I saw a photo of my dad the other day and I didn’t realise he used to wear two glasses as well.
“He’s got two pairs of specs on so there you go.”
