Davina McCall revealed that she is no longer friends with Kylie Minogue 30 years after she danced with the popstar in the 1991 music video for Word Is Out.
Appearing on comedian Richard Herring’s podcast, Davina said: “How could I forget dancing for Kylie. It was the highlight of my career. I was quite good friends with Kylie and we used to hang out.
“We are not friends now. That is too complicated.
“It is weird you lose touch with people. She changed her phone number and did not give me the new one. No, that is a joke… or is it?”
Revealing how she landed the gig in the first place, Davina continued: “I was running nightclubs at the time and she lost her director of the video and me being the constant hustler I said, ‘If I get you a director, can I be a dancer in your video’.”

The video, shot in Camden Market, saw Davina wearing a striped vest and a black beret as she joined a group of dancers surrounding Kylie.
In the years after making the video, the duo were spotted on nights out and presented an award together at the 2000 BRIT Awards and Q Awards.
Davina previously said that she misses her friendship with Kylie and revealed that she was a “numpty” when they “drifted apart”.
She said in July: “We both just drifted apart. Nothing happened between us. I was a numpty and still using back then. I was just a flibbertigibbet.

“When I think back, she was working so hard, but we had a brilliant time together. I really, really, really loved Kylie, and sort of miss her a bit.
“I’ve messaged her a couple of times [on Instagram] but she doesn’t follow me back, so she is never going to see it.
“I’ve got the utmost respect for Kylie because she is absolutely smashing it in midlife, showing us all that it’s going to be OK – she just keeps being reborn. She’s so flipping cool. Like a goddess. Kylie is amazing.”
