I bought a silver two-piece for a winter city break – I thought it'd be edgy but instead I look like an alien | The Sun

A PLUS-SIZED fashionista tried to find the perfect outfit for a winter break with her pals, but her last-minute order was left feeling like "a stuffed sausage in the oven".

Rachel Spicer, from Falkirk, regularly shares her clothing hauls and outfit choices with her 2.3 million followers on TikTok (@rachelspicer_).

The blonde beauty rose to fame on the social media app by showing off her two "dancing" chins and aims to help boost her followers' self-confidence.

She's spoken openly in the past about struggling with her figure but now inspires fans with messages of body positivity.

But in a recent clip, the size 18 beauty wasn't impressed with her latest Pretty Little Thing buy.

Rachel ordered a silver two-piece last minute before her winter city break to Liverpool with her friends.

Although it was "outside of her comfort zone", she thought the style would make her look "edgy".

Instead, she felt as though she looked like "an alien" and feared she resembled a "stuffed sausage in the oven".

Trying on the outfit, Rachel said: "Oh my God, what was I thinking?

"I don't usually like having my arms out. The bingo wings are bingo-ing!

"Oh, I don't know… They're a little short, see if they were, like, half an inch longer…

"Do I look like a stuffed sausage? Do I look like an alien? Oh my God, I never wear things like this."

She tried modelling the two-piece with a blazer jacket but was still not pleased with the results.

Rachel added: "I was honestly just trying to be cool and edgy 'cause the friends that I am going with are cool and edgy – I don't want to be boring.

"What heels do I wear? I don't know… These heels are throwing me off and I'm muffin-topping as well.

"I'm also going to be bloated… Why do I feel like I need to be in the oven at 180C for 45 minutes?"

She carried on: "I'm going to look like Tinman.

"It's not slipping, it's actually got this little sticky bit so my boobs should stay in.

"Honest opinions – do I look like a stuffed sausage that needs to go in the oven?"

The video quickly racked up more than 37,900 views as fans flocked to the comments to share their thoughts.

Although many weren't keen on the getup as a whole, they did suggest wearing them as individual pieces in separate outfits.

One person said: "Jeans or black trousers with the top would work perfectly!"

Another added: "I think separate they could for sure work."

Someone else wrote: "I think both pieces look good but not together. Like the top with a pair of jeans and a blazer. Or the silver bottoms with like a bold print/knit".

A fourth suggested: "Long sleeve black top with those bottoms! And black heels".

While a fifth chimed in: "Try a different top. Trousers are lovely. U look fab, not a sausage in sight".

However, others urged Rachel to ditch the outfit and send it back.

One person said: "I’m sorry this is a no, really not keen on it at all".

A second added: "Honestly it’s a big no, it’s not giving what it’s supposed to give queen, stick to your stunning dresses".

And a third commented: "You always look amazing but for this one…. not so sure."
