Rangers forward Barclay Goodrow suffered a gruesome injury on Tuesday night as his tooth was knocked out onto the ice.
Goodrow was skating towards the puck in the first period vs. the Senators when teammate K’Andre Miller accidentally hit him in the face from point-blank range.
The 30-year-old let go of his stick and fell to the ice, grabbing his face with his hands.
‘Never like when he starts checking to see what teeth are intact,’ a TSN announcer said on the game broadcast.
And a camera shot from the broadcast then showed a single bloodied tooth on the ice.

And his bloodied tooth was shown on TV shortly after the painful incident on Tuesday
Goodrow left the game and did not return as his team ultimately fell 6-2.
New York head coach Peter Laviolette vaguely described his player’s injury as an ‘upper-body’ issue after the game.
‘Certainly we don’t like to see that, he’s an important part of our team for a lot of different reasons,’ he told reporters.
With the loss, the Rangers fell to 18-5-1 while the Senators improved to 10-10-0.
