Antiques Roadshow guest lost for words as husband's Teletubbies sketches valued at eye-watering £80k | The Sun

AN ANTIQUES Roadshow guest was left stunned after her husband's Teletubbies sketches were valued at an eye-watering £80k.

A woman presented drawings by her late husband, Jonathan Hills, to expert Mark Hill for examination at the Museum of the Home in London.

Expert Mark said: "We are looking at drawings which look like the Teletubbies but there is a slight difference in some of them."

The guest said that her husband was asked to design characters for a children's show, and that's how she got hold of the sketches.

Mark said: "Literally hundreds of millions of children saw his work and what we are looking at here is the very start of the Teletubbies."

The woman explained that the original characters actually looked more like bears.
