Outlander: Caitriona Balfe praises Mark Lewis Jones
Caitriona Balfe has revealed a completely different look while she’s still on hiatus from filming the next season of Outlander.
The first part of the seventh season of Starz’s hit historical drama was released earlier this year, but Irish actress Balfe has already ditched Claire Fraser’s 18th-century looks.
She’s unveiled a total hair makeover, swapping out her signature brunette locks for a stylish blonde bob.
Balfe unveiled the transformation at the Gabrielle Chanel Fashion Manifesto at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, which took place this Wednesday.
The Outlander star matched the new look with natural makeup and long, hanging earrings.

She was all smiles as she posed for some glamorous photos outside before heading in to enjoy the event.
Fashionable as ever, Balfe struck an elegant figure with a sharp, sparkly jumpsuit paired with a billowy white blouse.
She wore black footwear underneath, although the jumpsuit flared magnificently at the pants legs so it was hard to tell what shoes exactly she was wearing.

Balfe was most recently seen as Claire Fraser again opposite Sam Heughan’s hunky Jamie Fraser in the seventh season of Outlander.
The latest instalment isn’t over yet, although the remaining episodes won’t be airing until next year.
In the meantime, fans may have an even longer wait ahead of them as Balfe and Heughan still haven’t returned to set for the eighth and final season.
“Well, we had a date,” she told Radio Times about the filming schedule.
“And now with the writers’ [and actors’] strike, who knows? So we have to just wait and see.”
She’ll next be seen in the upcoming film The Cut, which also features Lord of the Rings and Gran Turismo star Orlando Bloom.
Outlander airs on Starz and is available to stream on Lionsgate+.
