Thomas Markle has pleaded with his daughter Meghan and her husband Prince Harry to let him see his grandchildren.
The Duchess of Sussex’s dad – who speaks with slurred speech after suffering a stroke last year – went on Good Morning Britain to issue his plea live on TV.
The 79-year-old has not seen his grandkids, four-year-old Archie and Lilibet, two, amid his rift with his daughter and revealed how much he wanted to.

“I still haven’t seen my grandkids… I want to see my grandkids,” he said.
“I'm very upset about it as well because this is a cruel thing to do to a grandparent… deny the right to see their grandchild,” Thomas went on.
Asked what he would like to say to Meghan directly, Thomas suggested he would like the past to be put behind them.
He also said that he had been a "loving father" to his daughter, who he described as "sweet" and "very talented".
Discussing the relationship they had when Meghan was younger, Thomas explained that she lived with him from the sixth grade to high school and that they used to get along well.
"I never saw the kind of woman she turned into," he said.
"She is not the person I knew," he added.
Thomas also said that he would always love his daughter.
"I have always been here for her, I still love her," he told hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid.
"I will love her forever… but I want her to reach out to me and let me see my grandkids and let me have a little peace."
Thomas and Meghan fell out around the time of her wedding in 2018, amid claims Thomas staged paparazzi photos.
