BBC Strictly’s Vito Coppola gives insight to late night training with Ellie Leach

Strictly Come Dancing’s Vito Coppola has given an insight into how hard he and Ellie Leach are training to prepare for Saturday night’s quarter final.

The 31 year old pro dancer took to social media to share the update just hours after the pair had appeared on the BBC show’s spin-off programme It Takes Two. He posted a video on Instagram showing him and Coronation Street star Ellie, 22, sitting on the floor of the rehearsal room.

“Finished!” the Italian dancer exclaimed in the clip. “Finito. Today has been a looong day. Very productive, but long.

"After rehearsals and It Takes Two we came back to rehearse. We have just finished so now we will stretch and we go home, we eat a good meal…”

Ellie cut in to say: "You probably will, I won't."

Vito then added: “You can have a tea."

Ellie agreed and appeared excited at the prospect of a shower then bed.

It comes as this week Ellie shared the one thing she loved about Vito in a new interview – as romance rumours between the duo continued to swirl. The pair’s chemistry on the dancefloor this year has been undeniable and has made them a hit with viewers.

And Ellie, who played Faye Windass on Coronation Street until earlier this year, this week revealed her favourite thing about Vito as she praised his "sense of humour" and discussed how much "fun" they have while working on Strictly together.

In a stunning photoshoot and interview with OK!, Vito said, “I love working with her.

"It’s better to dance with people who have never done it before because you start with a white page. She never did any sports, any movement, any dancing. I say, ‘Perfect!’”

Fans have romantically linked the pair in recent weeks and Vito’s exuberant hugs and kisses at the end of dances have also caused speculation that they are already an item. Plus, Amanda Abbington – who left the show due to medical reasons – caused a stir when she referred to Ellie and Vito as a “beautiful couple” on Instagram.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed what dances the five remaining Strictly couples are set to perform on Saturday night. Ellie and Vito are to perform a Quickstep to Belle from Beauty And The Beast, Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe are to dance a Foxtrot to For Good from Wicked and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell are to do a Salsa to (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing.

Meanwhile, Layton WIlliams and Nikita Kuzmin are to dance a Paso Doble to Backstage Romance from Moulin Rouge! The Musical while Nigel Harman and Katya Jones are to do a Charleston to Step In Time from Mary Poppins.
