Zara McDermott has been treated to a lavish birthday celebration after her boyfriend Sam Thompson returned to the UK following his I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! win.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the former Love Island star, 27, shared that Sam, 31, had gifted her a lavish Bottega Veneta bag, which costs between £1,880 and £5,550.
Sharing a photo excitedly posing with her new bag, she wrote: "Oh she's a stunning girl [green heart emoji]
"Thank you so much goose!!!!!!!!! And we are heading to the ritz tonight for dinner!!! How exciting!! Best birthday ever! [red heart emoji]"
Sam also took to Instagram to wish Zara a happy birthday as he shared a video clip of him singing to her in bed.
He added the caption: "A birthday goose. It's all happening this week," followed by a love heart emoji.
The lavish birthday celebrations come after Sam was crowned King of the Jungle following this year's I'm A Celeb, when he beat fellow finallists Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage in the public vote.
He was then reunited with Zara as he touched down in the UK on Wednesday afternoon with the pair pictured kissing and embracing at Heathrow Airport.
Zara also surprised the new king of the jungle, who returned home with his close friend Pete Wicks, with a cluster of rainbow-coloured balloons which said “Welcome home”.
Sharing some photos to Instagram of the pair's reunion, Sam wrote: "She brought balloons [laughing emoji] Reunited with the love of my life. What a trip, what a lucky guy I am, spot an awkward Pete."
Pete also shared some snaps of Sam and Zara's reunion, which he captioned: "They were reunited…I was awkward [balloon emoji]"
Reflecting on how he was feeling about his win after landing back in the UK, Sam told the PA news agency: “It hasn’t sunk in yet but I’ve had my best mate Pete out there so he’s been keeping me very grounded.
"I told him to call me king for a day and he didn’t even want to do that. It’s been a really, really fun couple of days."
After he was announced as winner during the show's final, Sam said: "I'm really overwhelmed, I didn't even think I was going to be invited onto the show. I'm so grateful, thank you so much. I’ve dreamt of doing this show for years and years and you made this boy’s dream come true."
He was crowned by fellow contestant Josie Gibson, who told him: “I’m so proud of you.” Asked how it felt, he then yelled: “It feels amazing!”
